Putting the “choke” in artichoke.
In the lead up to Christmas, the hosts of Global News Calgary have been bringing in their favourite holiday dishes to showcase their baking skills. When it was Leslie Horton's turn, she brought in an artichoke dip.
As Horton explains, it wasn't even her intention to bake anything.
"My family was all freaking out because, 'You need to make something! Everyone's making something!'"
So, in the spirit of the holidays she shovelled some dip onto a cracker and distributed it to her colleagues.
And while it might have appeared that they were being rude...
